I love the Heinz bottles.
So fun to be with someone who I can relax with and just have fun.
I love the atmosphere of a live game. The weather was partly sunny with a breeze. When the sun hid behind the clouds I'd snuggle in close to the Giant. Can't get much better than that.
A Hokie is a turkey... a certain kind of turkey. Heather explained to me it's a castrated turkey. Um, I'm going to have a hard time looking at Hokie fans without smiling in the future. Sorry.
While we were at the game, our six children were back at the house playing under the close supervision of a babysitter. I don't know if Henry and I have ever left our kids with a babysitter on a Saturday afternoon. They survived. Happily.
(Have you ever tried getting three 3 1/2 year olds plus 3 older kids stand still, let alone look at the camera?)
Saturday evening we took the gang up to Mt. Washington on the incline. The kids loved seeing the city lights and riding the "train." "Whoo hoo. This is fun." (Ryan)
How fun! And I bet the 6 kiddos had fun together too! So glad you got to go Leighann!

That story is a little hokey. :-) Love you all and miss you!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to experience Heinz Field, although I wasn't happy with the outcome of the game! In the past, we have visited friends in PGH and gone to a Pitt/VT game, Pens game, and Steeler game - all in the same weekend! We used to take all our visitors on the Inclines when we lived there, too!
