My kids were at home with Henry. We went back and forth trying to decide if we should all go for the weekend. On Thursday night I looked at him and said, "How about I just go by myself for the day. Just the thought of packing bags, taking medicine, figuring out where they'll sleep and what will keep them busy makes me tired." He said 'sure' with no hesitation. It's one of the reasons I love him!
They had a pretty low-key day watching t.v., playing outside, pitching a tent in the backyard (dads are the best), and making a fire in the evening.
Sunday after church we drove downtown, found a little Irish restaurant for lunch, then walked along the river and ate ice cream. None of us wanted to have the day end.
I'm totally not ready for this week. I have grocery shopping, menu planning, cleaning and paperwork to do. The girls have off school Weds through Monday so I'm hoping to get most of it done today and tomorrow. We have a few things planned including a trip to Marmi and Pop's for Easter. Yay!!

You have a great hubby! We had spring break last week and Mark took leave we went to the Zoo, pirate dinner girls got strep so it ended the week's fun a bit early but we did family movie day 2 days in a row. Happy feet 2 in burned into my brain. Maveric went with the youth group to Disney and had a blast.
