We walked from Henry's apartment to the stadium with 39,000 other fans.
Ryan spent most of the game standing between us in the bleachers or sitting on mommy's lap.
He caught on pretty quickly to cheering...
By the last few innings, Ryan had the cheering part down pat. As soon as the crowd would go wild (for either team), Ryan would throw his hands in the air and cheer. He knew that several times I had stood up while cheering so he would put his hands on my shoulder and say "up, up."
I think the whole reason he thought we were there was to clap and cheer with everyone else.
Friday was actually quite cool - in the 70s - so the weather was great.... most of the time. There were a few showers here and there, but overall a great night. Much better than sweltering heat.
A view of the fans walking back after the game.
