A couple years ago I started keeping a journal of Christmas and birthday gifts I've given. This isn't so I remember how generous I was!! Certainly not. It's so I don't give my husband a sweater every year for the rest of our lives! I use it mostly for extended family gifts and Henry. It's come in pretty handy.
Do you have a system that keeps you straight with your gift giving?
Just the steel trap that is my mind. It's not particularly effective. I do have a blank notebook I could put into use...
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of anyone doing that! Wow! You must be such an organized person Leighann!!! It is a very good idea...but I am so disorganized I would probably forget where I put the book, to check it when I needed it! ha! (:>)

LOL - I have an excel spreadsheet for christmas gifts - I just add a new sheet for each year! I do it for the same reason as you - to prevent repeat gifts, but I also keep up with how much I spend for each person - so that I can keep my spending in check and also make sure that I spend about the same on certain groups of people (same on niece/nephew, sister in laws, etc.)
