The Last Day 2012

Today's the last day of school for this year. I'd like to say it seems like yesterday I stuck Natalie on the bus for her first day, but it doesn't. I try to remember it and it feels like a long, long time ago. Part of that is probably because we had three hospitalizations with Ryan this year. Who would've thought....  last school year was so uneventful for him... it was all good things happening like learning to walk and eat. But this post is not about Ryan or about how long this year was for me. It's about these two rugrats!

There's a special science fair at school today so the afternoon kindergarten is flipping their day. Ainsley got to ride the bus with her big sister this morning. They both dressed up. Natalie is obsessed with Indians right now. She made this "Indian" shirt on Monday out of fabric scraps. She would've worn it all week if I let her. She was busy looking up Cherokee words yesterday (Henry is 1/16th Cherokee). Last night we watched the Mandi movie... a story about a girl who is part Cherokee. It's a book series I've been trying to get Natalie into. Now maybe she'll read them!  She was smitten with the story.

I have a busy day. The girls are camping with their dad this weekend. I have supplies to gather and clothes to pack. Along with everything else I feel I need to fit in before having three kids at home for 3 months!
