It's been a pretty quiet week here in hobbit land, but I did manage to do a few ideas off of Pinterest. The first is pretty utilitarian, but was becoming a necessity. Let me explain.
The drawer where I keep my grocery bags is overflowing. It's so bad sometimes that the bags go back behind the drawer and make it and the drawer below it hard to close. I knew something had to be done.
My second endeavor this week was a stuffed cabbage recipe from Pennies on a Platter.
Let me tell you, it was good... better than good. The kids had a hard time with the cabbage so ate just the filling. However Henry and I thought the whole little package was delicious. I definitely want to make them again. What did you guys do this week? |
It's Dr Seuss week...also I have made a stuffed cabbage from www.skinnytaste.com. My girls ate it too..the cabbage was shredded so could eat and didn't even notice it.. It made a ton and I was able to freeze a pan for leftovers.
ReplyDeleteI made a chore chart this week!!!
ReplyDeleteMy girls(9,8&3) LOVE doing thier chores and they can keep track of what needs done, all by themselves, well my 3 year old needs a little help but my older 2 help her do her chores to so she can get stars. this has been a great help at our house!
Hope Ryan's feeling better! Love your football bags... I've got a bag o' overflowing bags. May have to football them!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I wonder if my guys would eat stuffed cabbage. It sounds delicious!
